Despite showcasing the possible solutions revolving Macs, iPhones, and iPods, Switch World 2009 is all about lifestyle. This year, we have something that may have you rethink about mobility.

Yes. Segway will be in Penang for 3 days! Test drive and glide on air with Segway, the personal transporter, during Switch World 2009 at the following days and time:

  • 5 June 2009: 12:00p.m to 10:00p.m
  • 6 June 2009: 10:00a.m to 10:00p.m
  • 7 June 2009: 10:00a.m to 6:00p.m

Charges for Segway test drive: RM10/ride, at Gurney Plaza Alfresco area (near Dome/Starbucks). Test drive is approximately 5 minutes, including guiding. Customers are required to register and pay at the Switch World 2009 Cashier Counter before proceeding for the test drive.

Also, expect to meet the new MINI Cabrio at Switch World 2009, featuring a fully automatic soft top that opens in 15 seconds flat, and a unique “Openometer” that shows how long you’ve had the top down. And we’ve learned that the best part is, if it rains, you can always drive faster.
