(Tze Song – TS)

Q: First of all, congratulations for being nominated as July 2009’s Switch Superstar! So tell us a bit about yourself, where are you from, your age, what do you do beside working at Switch, you know, the personal stuff.

TS: My name is Bong Tze Song, and I’m 21. Currently having my first degree program of Bachelor Of Science In Chemistry (Industrial Chemistry) at Univesiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Hence I can only be back in action at Switch@The Spring during my semester break.

Q: When did you join Switch, and what made you join?

TS: I have been with Switch since April 2008. At first, the main reason was for me to earn extra money during holiday. But now, I would say it is because of the nice working environment and I find it as a place that I can gain more valuable knowledge and skills for me to prepare myself for related field of work in the future.

Q: Please describe your typical day at work.

TS: Serving customers walking into the outlet, providing assistance to current customers and answering customers’ questions if they have doubt. Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the outlet is also part of my job. In short, serving customers and helping to run the shop.

Q: What is your favourite part of working at Switch?

TS: Meeting new people everyday and everyone is happy with you.

Q: Can you share with us the most important thing that you’ve learned from working at Switch?

TS: A simple word ‘TEAM’

  • T- Together
  • E- Everyone
  • A- Achieve
  • M- More

I believe team work is the key for better achievement.

Q: What advice would you give to other Switchers (your colleagues) at work?

TS: Stay focus, always smile, and always listen.
