Q: First of all, congratulations for being nominated as July 2009’s Switch Superstar! So tell us a bit about yourself, where are you from, your age, what do you do beside working at Switch, you know, the personal stuff.
H: First of all, I just want to say thank you all! The first thing that I wanted to do when I got the email notification on this was to LOL (laugh-out-loud)! Me being nominated as Switch Superstar. This is the craziest thing!
OK back to myself. I was born in Kuala Lumpur, but my parents are currently staying in Negeri Sembilan. I am 22 years old, not married yet. I live with my colleague in Serdang.
Q: When did you join Switch, and what made you join?
H: I started working at Switch in February 2009. What made me join Switch? Erm… I guess I’m in love with a Mac. I have actually worked with another Apple Authorised Reseller before joining Switch. I think as an Apple Premium Reseller, Switch is a better platform for me to get to know more about Apple and Mac.
Q: Please describe your typical day at work.
H: Most of the time I like to start working in the morning because for me, working in the morning means I get to get up early and prepare myself early. I normally arrive at the outlet around 9:45am – 9:55am. After punching in, I clean the outlet a little, and settle some admin work. And then of course I attend to customers who walk in. The basic things that all other Switchers are doing.
Q: What is your favourite part of working at Switch?
H: My favourite part is when I manage to close a deal with a customer who has a different opinion with me. These are really valuable experiences, and the feeling is AMAZING!
Q: Can you share with us the most important thing that you’ve learned from working at Switch?
H: It is our responsibility to fulfill customers’ needs and requirements with the best that we can offer.
Q: What advice would you give to other Switchers (your colleagues) at work?
H: Be patient and passionate about your work. Enjoy your work. Take your job as your responsibility!
